Help This Family Adopt While Purchasing Beautiful Handmade Gifts Perfect for Christmas

As some of you know, I went through the process of adopting a baby girl earlier this year while my husband was deployed, even becoming licensed to provide foster care in California. In the end, as strongly as God had pressed it upon me to begin the adoption (from 2,800 miles away!) He ended up pressing it on me that she was already home, so I withdrew our bid to adopt. All in all, we didn't receive a daughter, but instead received a whole new family to love, her adopting family is now another branch on the Family Tree and we received not one blessing but instead seven. Sometimes, your obedience can yield the greatest treasures, even if they are ones that you haven't anticipiated. I will be publishing more on that story later but regardless, the action, process, and consideration of adopting is a beautiful, daunting, amazing, scary, very worthy and thrilling experience and I respect and can sympathize with anyone who has been called into this mission field.  Now, allow me to introduce you to Stitches by Sara.

I "met" Sara on Twitter and read about her mission on her blog. I immediately fell in love with this family with hearts of gold. I knew what I wanted to feature her as soon as possible and try to help them obtain their goal and today it is my privilege to do so.

The Announcement (Don't you just want to meet and love them?!
They need our help in order to achieve their dream.  They need your prayer, help spreading the word on their mission and help raising funds to adopt a child from Ethiopia. Please join them for their journey on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Email subscription, and RSS Feed.

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet because I want you to head over to Sara's blog and get to know her and her beautiful family. But more than anything, as you are shopping for your Christmas gifts, consider purchasing her gorgeous handmade items including Coffee Cozies, Koozies & Tumblers, Custom Name Pillows, Little Artist Rollups, Totes, Accessories, READY TO SHIP ITEMS, and Custom Clothing. Most of these items can also be monogrammed. 100% of proceeds are put towards the adoption. Remember when I spoke yesterday about gifts that give back? This is a perfect example.
